Koh Larn Island Day Trip

Koh Larn — Coral Island — is the escape hatch that Pattaya residents and visitors have been using for decades. Just 45 minutes by ferry from Bali Hai Pier, this small island packs in six proper beaches, coral reefs worth snorkeling, and the kind of clear turquoise water that central Pattaya doesn't have. Tawaen Beach is the main event, bustling and fun with beach chairs, vendors, and water sports. But walk to Samae or Nual and you'll find something far quieter. The island has basic bungalows if you want to stay overnight, but a day trip is the standard approach.
