Baan Rim Pa Hotel in Naklua translates roughly as 'house at the forest edge' — and the hotel lives up to it with extensive tropical planting that creates privacy and shade. Rooms are simple but clean, the pool is nicely sized, and the neighbourhood's quiet lanes and seafood restaurants are the main attraction for guests who prefer exploring to poolside lounging.
