Pattaya Cabaret Shows: Alcazar vs Tiffany’s vs Colosseum (2026)
Pattaya has three major cabaret shows, and they are not the same night. Tiffany’s is the oldest and the famous name. Alcazar is usually the cheaper seat, on the same road. Colosseum is the newest room, and it is not next door. All three use transgender performers (kathoey, sometimes called ladyboys). All three are family shows.
Here is how they compare, with real prices, show times and honest advice on which to pick.
Quick facts (checked October 2026)
Alcazar is the one I would book on a normal night if the price matters. Tiffany’s is the name people already know, and it costs more. Colosseum is the odd one out on the map: same kind of show, different part of town.
How much you pay depends on who is selling the seat. The theatre sites and the resellers do not use the same numbers.
| Alcazar | Tiffany’s | Colosseum | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Show times | 17:00, 18:30, 20:00, and 21:30 on dates when the late show is listed | 18:00, 19:30, 21:00 | 17:30–18:30, 19:00–20:00, 20:30–21:30 |

Checked Oct 2026 against alcazarthailand.com, the Colosseum site, and the TAT Tokyo listing as reported by Pattaya Insider on 1 Oct 2026. The 21:30 Alcazar show is not on every date. Open the day’s list before you plan dinner around it.
All three are staged ladyboy cabaret, costumes and lip-sync, and they are fine for families. There is no nudity in the show. For a first timer, Alcazar if you can get the cheaper seat. Tiffany’s if the name is the point of the evening. Colosseum if you are already down near Thepprasit and do not want the Second Road trip.
Alcazar
Alcazar opened on 9 February 1990 and has been running every night since — over three decades on Pattaya Second Road. It’s the affordable choice that doesn’t feel cheap.
The early show, 17:00, suits families who want dinner after. The 21:30 show only helps if it is actually on the board that night. Standard and VIP seats are what resellers still sell around ฿450 and ฿600. The theatre’s own site, read in Oct 2026, only prices the VVIP package, at ฿1,800 for one of 24 seats. That package includes a snack, a drink, photos and a souvenir. It is not the same product as a ฿450 seat.
The show is 70 minutes across 17 acts spanning Thai classical dance, K-pop, Bollywood, a Vietnamese folk number, a Russian set piece, a Persian sequence and a full company finale. A through-line ties the acts together, giving it more of a musical feel than a variety show — things build and connect rather than stopping dead between numbers.
The 1,200-seat venue is well-maintained and the production punches above its low price point. If you’re choosing on price, Alcazar wins cleanly. If the occasion makes you want to splurge, Tiffany’s gives you something extra to talk about.
Reseller VIP seats, the ones quoted around ฿600, are the closer block. The ฿1,800 VVIP on the official site is a different product, with photos and a drink thrown in. Standard reseller seats around ฿450 are further back. The room is not huge, so the cheap seat is still a seat.
Book on the official site if you want that VVIP package. For a standard seat, a theatre agent or the door is how people still buy. Check the clock for that date. A 21:30 show that is not listed is not a show.
Tiffany’s Show
Tiffany’s opened in 1974, which means it has been running for over 50 years — a heritage the other two can’t match. That history buys real prestige, and when Thais recommend a Pattaya cabaret show, Tiffany’s is usually the name they give you.
Show times are 18:00, 19:30 and 21:00. The TAT Tokyo listing, checked 1 Oct 2026, puts a standard seat at ฿1,000 and the higher classes at ฿2,200, ฿2,300 and ฿2,500. An extra 16:30 show is listed for Thai and Chinese New Year holidays. Do not budget from an old ฿949 figure. Seat names change between the theatre and the resellers, so compare the same show and the same class.
The show is 75 minutes with 13 numbers built around production values over storytelling. Each set is enormous, each costume more elaborate than the last. The numbers are self-contained; the pleasure is in the sheer spectacle of each piece rather than a narrative arc. If you’ve already seen Alcazar, Tiffany’s feels bigger and more elaborate. If Tiffany’s is your first, the standard is simply impressive.
The venue sits close to Alcazar on Second Road. In December, January and on Thai public holidays, the 19:30 and 21:00 shows fill first. Book those. A midweek 18:00 is easier to walk into.
Colosseum
Colosseum opened in August 2013 — the newest of the three — and went large from day one. The Roman-style theatre fits over 1,000 people across stalls and tiered levels, and the sightlines from every seat to the stage are good.
The theatre site lists three shows: 17:30–18:30, 19:00–20:00 and 20:30–21:30. It does not print a price. A TAT-licensed seller in 2026 lists Deluxe ฿800, VIP ฿1,000 and Gold ฿1,200, without a hotel car. Other packages still say ฿900 and up because the transfer is in the price. The show is billed as 14 segments. The clock on the homepage is one hour per slot, so do not plan a 90-minute night.
Being the newest venue, Colosseum has the most modern staging technology. If the over-the-top Roman aesthetic matters to you, it’s a more memorable venue than the other two. It suits larger groups who want the space to work as an event as much as a show.
On price, Colosseum is no longer an obvious “most expensive” if you are looking at an ฿800 deluxe seat next to Tiffany’s ฿1,000 standard. You are also in a different neighbourhood. Tiffany’s still wins if you want the famous room on Second Road. Colosseum wins if the Roman theatre is the thing you came for, or you are staying near Thepprasit.
Which one to choose
The honest summary:
- First time in Pattaya, and the price matters: Alcazar, if you are buying the cheaper seat and not the ฿1,800 package.
- Special occasion / want the most famous name: Tiffany’s. The 50-year heritage means something and the production is excellent.
- Larger group / want the newest venue: Colosseum. The Roman theatre is memorable, and the tiered VIP system suits groups who want to book a section together.
Alcazar and Tiffany’s are close together in northern Pattaya on Second Road — you can walk between them in under five minutes and compare box office prices on the night. Colosseum is a different story: it sits much further south near Thepprasit Road, roughly 7 km from the other two. You can’t walk between venues. If you’re choosing Colosseum, plan it as a separate evening with a baht bus or Grab each way — see our first-timers guide to getting around Pattaya for how the transport works.

Practical tips before you go
What to wear: Smart casual is fine at all three — no dress code beyond “not beach clothes.” Shorts and a collared shirt or a light dress work well.
Booking: Walk-in tickets are available on the night at the box office for all three. Booking online through the official sites or platforms like GetYourGuide can save queuing time and occasionally gets you a small discount. In peak season, book ahead for the popular 19:30–20:00 slots.
Photography: All three allow photographs from your seat during the show. Flash is generally off — check the house rules when you arrive.
Post-show photos: After every performance, performers line up outside the theatre for photos with the audience. This is not free — the expected tip is roughly ฿100 per performer in the photo. Nice moment, but know it’s coming so you have small notes ready and aren’t caught off guard.
Arrival time: Arrive 20–30 minutes before showtime. Doors open early and you can find your seat or grab a drink without the rush.
Getting there: Alcazar and Tiffany’s are on Second Road in north Pattaya, a short walk apart, and baht buses run that stretch all evening. Colosseum is near Thepprasit, about 7 km south. That is a baht bus or Grab, not a stroll from the other two. For what a Grab from your hotel tends to cost, the Pattaya budget guide has the transport numbers.
With children: All three welcome kids. The shows are colourful, loud and fast — younger children tend to love them. There’s no nudity or adult themes; the performances are focused on music, dance and extravagant costumes.
